Integrity Idol is an eight-month campaign (from May to December 2016) with the explicit goal of bringing Pakistanis across the country into a conversation about integrity and accountability. It will generate support for those civil servants within the system who are serving for public good. Highlighting their excellent work in public- in an independent way that builds a positive narrative- allows us to question existing realities, which in turn leads to changes in behavior that can improve lives. It also allows Pakistanis to feel part of a different reality- that they can help to build.

My City, My Stories: is a program aims at engaging students in various cities who are part of the Access network in Pakistan with sufficient exposure to English language, and students will take part in learning the language in their daily conversation. The program entails the engagement of these students in creating interactive stories on/about their native cities, or what they experience in daily life, in English language, to support the culture of writing, reading and sharing stories, and more importantly perceive their stories in a visual context and turning them into short (preferably 60-seconds) films, comic strips, stick figure drawing, photographs, or audio stories, through a series of workshops. This project will equip students with our organization’s in-house developed Smart Phone application, with which they can video-shoot and edit their short films; the required stationary to facilitate them to turn their narratives into drawings; cyber shot cameras to do still photography; and normal cell phones to record audio stories. The start up of this drive is to conduct audio and video production workshops in at least three cities to begin with i.e. Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar, and gradually expand to Karachi, Multan, and Muzzarafabad.
Our aim is to foster among st school students, the culture of understanding, creating, and sharing stories with a larger audience, not just within Pakistan, but also with the rest of the world in English. We also aim for the impact of our project to be multiplied by these students teaching our story-telling methodologies in their own communities at smaller levels, which will collectively create a larger impact.
